The New Zealand Centre for Gifted Education has an extensive collection of resources to support the teaching and parenting of gifted children, curriculum design for gifted programmes and academic study in gifted education. These resources are available for lending within New Zealand.

Resource Base Subscriptions

A subscription to the NZCGE Resource Base is free for all of our host schools and Tier 2, 3, and 4 Contributing Schools. Other schools or corporate organisations can subscribe to a yearly membership for $115 inc gst. Individuals can subscribe to a yearly membership for $115 inc gst. All postage costs are additional to subscription fees.


All memberships include unlimited borrowing. Items can be borrowed for up to eight weeks, unless requested by another member within this time, in which case they will be recalled. R

Our Resource Library is now available online.  Borrowers will be able to ‘Hold’ items, which will then be couriered out.  Login is not required to browse the books and DVDs, but a username (email address) and password is required to borrow items.  Send us an email at to request a password, and you will be on your way.
