As part of the Virtual Cake Stall 2015, we’re running a competition for all students who participate in an NZCGE programme in New Zealand. It’s cake themed of course, but with something we hope will be of interest to each of our students.

The categories are:

  1. Ode to a Cupcake. Write an ode to a cupcake, cake, baking in any form you like (haiku, ballad, rhyme, short story, comic … whatever you like!) and send us in your entry.
  2. Cupcake (or a cake) Decorator. Get baking and send us a photo of your decorate cake or cupcake.
  3. Design-a-cake stand. Construct a model of a cake stand, perhaps pick a theme and send us a photo of the entry.

You can enter a maximum of ONE entry in each category and are only eligible to win ONE prize only.

There is a selection of judges both from the New Zealand Centre for Gifted Education and from our wider community.
